Jennifer is a mother of two sons (17 and 22), and has been working in the community as a postpartum doula (DONA certified) since 2008.  She has enjoyed supporting families of newborns and helping them to find their rhythm and balance in the new family constellation.  

As a postpartum doula, she works with families with newborns from birth to three months, helping those families with newborn care, guidance on feeding and sleep, answering questions and allaying concerns about what is normal newborn appearance and behavior, providing simple meals and respite sleep when needed, and offering resources for additional lactation support and support for perinatal mood disorders.  

​She has also served as a breastfeeding counselor with the Nursing Mother’s Council since 2011.  She teaches introductory breastfeeding classes through both Blossom Birth and the Nursing Mothers Council, and sometimes facilitates the breastfeeding support groups as well.
